My First Pro Massage

This past weekend, three friends and I went to check out a recently opened reflexology center in Hollywood, Calif. We were lured in by the $25-per-hour back, neck and foot massages -- pretty tough to resist. The place definitely delivered with very thorough massages. It was my first time getting a professional massage (other than the quick ones that come with manicures and pedicures). It was nice but I don't think I'm going to become a massage addict. Quite frankly, parts of it hurt, which I wasn't prepared for, and the relaxing effects of the massage didn't last very long after I left the salon.
I might try them again someday but for now I'm a little relieved -- that's less money I'll have to spend on future massages. (And more I can put toward manicures and pedicures!)
What are your thoughts on massages? Do you love them or can you take them or leave them?

cannot live without my thai massage! When you sit at a desk in front of a computer half of your time, you need to loosen up those muscles as much as possible. The thai massage stretches you out and relaxes and ultimately gives you more energy! You should try one!
