Actress Julianne Moore and Burt's Bees have joined the Natural Products Association in the effort to regulate the use of the term "natural" on products. (See Sarah's post back in June about the NPA's new certified natural seal.) Together they urge you to review the new NPA guidelines on what's allowed to be called "natural" and shop more selectively for natural goods.

To help display support for natural vs. synthetic products and raise awareness for the natural seal, Burt's Bees and Julianne Moore are asking you to vote natural here. Every voter will get a chance to win a limited-edition C&C California for Burt's Bees T-shirt or a year's worth of Burt's Bees products (worth $500).

Burt's Bees products began rolling out the natural seal on shelves in August 2008. Expect to see other companies follow suit in the coming months.
