About Me

I am a happily married, stay at home mom of 2 teenagers that has had a passion for health, beauty, and everything that women have to go through for over 25 years.  My mom is the epitome of class and always takes care of herself and she has taught me (starting when I was 11 at my first charm school) to take pride in my outward appearance and to nurture my inside.  I have always had an affinity for make-up and skincare.  After visiting the L'Oreal store (forever ago) at 13 to learn how to properly apply makeup, (my mom's idea) I have been passionate about it!  I was a cheerleader and always did the girl's makeup then, two years in a row, I was in the Miss Big Bear Pagents and this is when my makeup and skin care became so much more!  The pagent directors had us go to Toastmasters to learn how to speak in public, multiple skin care and makeup classes, fashion merchandising, and how to help other women feel the very best about themselves, NO matter what!  My 15 year old daughter attends online home school and I am always home keeping up to date with the newest products, application tips, new technologies, new trends, product reviews, and more.  When I found Total Beauty, I was ecstatic!  I can come here and leave my reviews on products, get expert advice, answer beauty questions, and just commune with women.  I think women helping other women, is pretty amazing!  I also have a new blog at www.beautylovingmom.com.

FYI: I have blue eyes, brown hair, and fair, acne prone skin.
