Journaling is pretty popular right now, and it's not hard to see why: It's a great way to clear the mind. Plus, all the adorable notebooks out there don't hurt. Some days, you just don't have time to haul yourself across town for a 90-minute yoga class. On those days, it's nice to go through some of the stretches and poses on your own time. Ten minutes of yoga is more than enough to help you stay grounded and to keep your body feeling aligned and relaxed. Go through a few sun salutations and warrior series, or find a quick video online.

Along the lines of yoga, meditation can be a great way to unwind. And there are tons of options, no matter what your personality or belief system. Some people like transcendental meditation, others find simple mindfulness especially helpful. Or, you can always just sit quietly and breathe for ten minutes, and see what it does for you.
