This is actually the perfect time to try out the wet hair look we've been seeing all over the red carpet and the runways. Farel says to put Julien Farel Sculpting Gel, $23, throughout all your hair, then brush it straight back. This will give you a sleek, sexy look. Finish it off with mist of hairspray to keep it in place.

Starting with hair that's been dry-shampooed, create a deep side part and pin one side of your hair behind your ear for a side-swept look, says Farel. He recommends using a smoothing cream on the pinned side, and adding a flexible paste to the ends of loose hair to add texture.

"If you want to leave your hair down, flip your hair upside down and rough dry," says Farel. "This will give volume." Then add dry shampoo or a salt spray (we like John Frieda Beach Blonde Sea Waves Salt Spray, $9.99) to give your hair texture.

Farel also recommends this style for wet hair. The two French braids will have your co-workers looking at you like the sporty-chic girl that you are. Plus, when you undo the braids, you'll be left with beachy waves. Just don't forget to use styling gel to prevent frizz.

"Milkmaid braids are an easy way to get wet hair off your neck while looking super stylish," says Markham. To get the look, he says to divide your hair into a center part all the way down the back of your head so it forms two sections. Apply a smoothing cream to your hair, then do an inverted French braid on one side of your head. (Need help? Here's a tutorial.) Once you reach the end, secure it with an elastic and repeat on the other side.
Bring the end of one braid up so it touches the beginning of the opposite braid and use bobby pins to secure it in place. Do the same for the other side. Markham says to be sure to tuck in the ends to hide them. Finish with a weatherproofing spray.
