In a video for Neutrogena, brand spokesperson Bella Thorne shared her skin issues with viewers. "I remember the first time I started to get acne, I started to see all these little bumps under my skin, and it just made me feel very insecure every time someone would look to me or talk to me," she said.

According to Teen Vogue, Thorne has also been vocal about her breakouts on SnapChat. In one snap, Thorne wrote, "My face is breaking out ughhhh," following that with a closeup of her bumps. In another snap, Thorne showed off acne on her neck, writing, "Pimple so big it looks like a hickey."
