Seven weeks after the procedure, I went in for another follow-up. The bruising was long gone, and my backside was looking better than ever. I had gone down an entire cellulite level.
Still, the best was yet to come, Dr. Stevens assured me. It takes a full six months for the body to completely heal from the procedure -- and to see the final results.

For me, yes. Absolutely. The procedure was minimally invasive and I didn't have to take any time off from work. (However, it should be noted that it is pricey, costing $3,000-$6,000, depending on how many areas need to be treated.)
Six months post-procedure, the dimples on my derriere that I was so unhappy with now look significantly better. I was worried about what other people would think when they found out I essentially had plastic surgery (hey, mom, hope you're not having a heart attack right now) -- but then I thought, who cares? While I didn't let my embarrassment over my cellulite take over my life, I was definitely self-conscious about it.
No matter how many squats I did or how much spinach I ate, those dimples never went away -- and, they never would have, according to Dr. Stevens. The only real way to fully get rid of cellulite is to sever the connective bands that cause the dimply texture. AKA, Cellfina -- my savior.
One word of caution: The areas treated with Cellfina won't develop cellulite again (the FDA has only cleared it for two years, but 96 percent of patients are still satisfied at three years), but you can develop new cellulite in other places.
With less cellulite, I feel like I've been given a second chance at the butt of my dreams. I'm even more motivated keep shaping my rear into tip-top, perky condition (alas, while Cellfina does indeed get rid of dimples, it doesn't automatically give you a pert booty). Excuse me while I go do some lunges.
