The Party-Ready Cat Eye
We gravitate toward glitter and sparkle when crafting our holiday looks, but the line between "fashionably festive" and "walking disco ball" is a fine one. Take a cue from Badgley Mischka's winter runway and dress up your tried-and-true cat eye with a tasteful swipe of bling.

When paired with unlined lower lids, va-va voom lashes and a frosty lavender-pink lip, this festive feline flick gets you a girly, mod-inspired beauty look that complements a plethora of party dresses.

How to Get The Look: The Party-Ready Cat Eye
Start by blending a light-coverage foundation all over the face. Next, swipe loose gold pigment over each eyelid. Then go over the area using a shimmery gold liquid liner to draw a thin cat eye shape, flicking out the ends once you reach the outer corner.

Next, dip the Tweezerman Brush IQ Line Glider (click here to buy it) into a black gel liner and draw another thick line along the lid, using the thin tip of the brush to fill in as much of the lash line as possible. Once you reach the outer corner, create a small, subtle wing. (The smaller the flick, the more modern your cat eye will look.)

Finish by loading your top lashes with black mascara or by applying false lashes for a more dramatic effect. Apply a frosty lilac lipstick to complete the look.

The Vintage Vixen Lip
Dark lips are expected once the temperatures drop, but this season's look involves a retro shape and a berry wash, giving your holiday statement lip a refreshing update.

This bold lip is sharp and precise, which means it looks best with other crisp elements like edgy elongated brows, wide-awake eyes and a contoured cheek.

How to Get The Look: The Vintage Vixen Lip
Use a foundation brush or blending sponge to blend a medium- to full-coverage foundation over your entire face. Then, use a face brush to swipe a matte bronzer onto the hollows of your cheeks. Next, closely line your upper lashline with a dark brown eye liner, highlight the inner corners of your eyes with a shimmery highlighter and curl your lashes to make your eyes pop.

The key to this lip is in the prep work. Before you reach for your lipstick, use a soft lip pencil in a deep berry shade to line your lips in a rounded shape, especially around your Cupid's bow -- this will get you that 1940s vibe. Next, fill in your handiwork with a creamy lipstick in a matching shade and be sure to do the tooth stain test: Put your finger in your mouth, close your mouth around your finger and slide your finger out.

The Gemstone Smoky Eye
The holiday season is no time to tame your smoky eye. Up the glam factor by swapping matte grays and blacks with shimmery jewel-toned shadows, like the festive emerald green look that appeared at Anna Sui's fall/winter 2014 show.

Oftentimes, a dramatic statement eye is paired with a muted lip to ensure the overall look doesn't get too overpowering. But this 1920s-inspired smoky is meant to be part of an all-out statement look. Channel your inner flapper by pairing it with an oxblood lip for a color combo that is festive but still very fashion-forward.
