Believe or not, this rendition of Matisse's geometric collage was made entirely of crushed eyeshadows, ranging from Estee Lauder Pure Colour Gelee Powder Eyeshadow, $22, to M.A.C. Eyeshadow, $15.

To recreate the layers of color in Mark Rothko's "White Center", editors layered their favorite blushes such as Topshop blush in Prime Time, $14, M.A.C. Cream Colour Base in Pearl and Audacious Orange, $20, Illamasqua Cream Blusher in Crush, $26, and Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush in Coral Reef, $13.
