Bow Capelets
The Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2014 show brought the term "girl power" to life with pigtails, headbands, tutus, pleats and waist-cinching details all wrapped up in a pretty bow ... literally. The star of the show -- this oversized bow capelet -- made the exaggerated feminine accents work, especially against the combat patent high tops, militant-inspired trousers and motocross bandanas masking half of the models' faces. Made in soft, wool fabrics and chic textile prints, the capelets were the perfect way to add a dose of architectural design, femininity and a super cozy feel to the otherwise fierce collection.

Vamp Heels
Wearable luxury may as well be the tagline for J.Crew, as the brand's Fall 2014 presentation showed off laser-cut leather, embellished blouses, sensible trousers and plush woven textiles. The showstoppers -- vamp heels and stilettos made in whimsical fabrics and materials fitting for fall -- raised the caliber of the already chic collection. We may not typically match the print in our cigarette pants with our shoes, but the cut of the heel right at the toe breaks up the pattern beautifully, creating a peep of skin for a sexy, polished look. Other details like fringe side ties and patent leather straps bring out the fun, upbeat elements of the line. Although this isn't predicted to trend for six months, we're betting A-listers will be wearing them asap.

Striking Hair Flair
This bold, geometric hair accessory from the Katya Leonovich's Fall/Winter 2014 show was a shoe-in for accessory of the day. Cast in metal, the sharp, crisp origami-meets-lightning bolt shapes posed the perfect juxtaposition of delicate but edgy futuristic femininity. (The inspiration for Leonovich's Fall 2014 collection was Sienna Miller's look in "Factory Girl.") The brilliant hair piece accented stunning full curls, brushed out for an organic texture and pinned high in a French twist. Would we try it? Definitely.

Circle Sunnies
We love vintage inspiration as much as the next girl, especially when it's accented with gorgeous, statement-making accessories. These round sunglasses spotted at the Love by Diego Binetti Fall 2014 presentation channel a certain retro meets steampunk edge that's eclectic and beautiful. The oversized circular frames -- a style made iconic by the inimitable Jackie O. -- give off a cool-girl vibe that's only made better with the studded trim and asymmetrical button details. Bonus: the super dark, large lenses are generous enough to cover tired eyes in the most glamorous way, but small enough to not seem too costume-y.

Seeing Floral
Floral prints, as much as we adore them, are typically reserved for spring. But this structured tote from Erin Fetherston's fall/winter presentation makes breaking the rule seem chic. The print itself is beautiful enough, with painterly flowers on black canvas and a metal trim. We don't even mind the blatant matchy-matchy styling with the long-sleeved A-lined dress. The delicate print makes the piece whimsical, while the hardware keeps it functional and able to withstand the on-the-go schedule of any It girl, street styler or socialite. What we love most is that it reminds us of a miniature version of our makeup train cases, turning it into a ready-to-wear look that blends our loves of fashion and beauty to a T.
