The second I saw this palette on Too Faced's Instagram account, I wiped the drool from my mouth and started to count down the minutes until it was released. This is my ideal eyeshadow palette, as I'm not much of a shimmer gal and clearly I'm mildly obsessed with warm peach tones. This was actually my first time using this palette, so I just dug into what felt right. I swiped a fluffy crease brush into Just Peachy, the medium tone, and did windshield wiper motions in my crease, blending until there was no obvious line of where the eyeshadow started and ended.
If I was being super basic, I could have just popped on this shade and went on with my day, but I decided for the sake of being able to play with this palette, I would get a little more in depth. I dipped into the medium peachy brown tone Fresh Picked, and one that was a bit deeper, Peach Tart, and blended both of those shades into a sideways V shape on the outer corner of my eyelid. For this, I used a crease blending brush that was a bit smaller than the original crease brush so that I could get a bit more detailed.
Whenever you're using deeper tones, it's a good idea to go back onto the lid and brighten up that area. For this, I opted for the off-white Peach Butter shade on a shader brush -- ideal for packing on color that you want to be super visible. After, I grabbed that small crease brush once more and made sure to blend the edges of this off-white shade to ensure it was as smooth as possible. If you like a smokier eye, feel free to skip this step.
Obviously, no look is complete without mascara, which I applied to the top and bottom lashes. For me, another mandatory step when wearing eyeshadow is to also make sure to apply some underneath the lower lashes on the lower lash line; it make it look absolutely finished. Today I felt fancy AF, so I ended up dipping into Peach Sangria, the deep berry-maroon shade, and got a bit of that in the lower lash line as well. It added an unexpected pop of brightness to my eye look, which I could totally get down with on a daily basis.
The lipstick selection for this collection is incredible. There are twenty fabulous shades in the Peach Kiss collection -- everything from absolute nudes to bright purples. Even though these lipsticks are matte, you'd be surprised by how hydrating they are. Even with my annoyingly dry lips, I didn't want to immediately remove this lipstick. The shade I chose, Sex on the Peach, was one of my favorites, as it was semi-neutral, but still had some deep brown tones to it.
Overall, I was as incredibly impressed with the entire Too Faced Peaches & Cream collection as I expected. The one product that surprised me was the foundation. I wasn't very excited about it, but I'm confident in saying that it's definitely my new go-to foundation. The entire collection -- especially with it being mostly cream-based -- provided the perfect formulas for the girl on-the-go who needs quick and easy application.
