So much has been going on in the beauty world this summer that I thought I'd give you some highlights:

• This seemed too crazy not to share: Tria Beauty has come out with an at-home laser hair removal system. Personally, I barely trust myself with a razor, let alone a laser, but maybe others have the steady hand to attempt this. It's available at Fred Segal Studio and costs $995 if you're interested. I think I'll stick with my Gillette for now.

• Fans of Nude Skin Care or those who want to check out the environmentally friendly brand can now pick up their products at Sephora. Associate Editor Charli is a big fan of their Cleansing Oil.

• Lush has created a new product for those of us without bathtubs, or just people who prefer showers. Their Emotibombs sit in the bottom of your shower and send fragrance and essential oils into the air. I haven't tried one yet but I'm quite curious; it seems like it could make showers really relaxing or invigorating, depending on which one you use.

• In other bath and shower news, Philosophy has a new limited-edition line of their 3-in-1 shampoo, bubble bath and shower gels and their lip sets in "soda fountain"-themed scents. (Choose from Root Beer Float, Not the Pits Cherry Cola and Fruit Punch.) Check them out at Sephora.com.

• I know we've talked about this before, but I'm still dying to try the vibrating mascara, Oscillation, from Lancome. I missed getting it at the one-day sale but as soon as it's on the market again you can bet I'll be first in line. Has anyone tried it?
