  • The Best Makeup Looks for Asian Faces (and How to Get 'Em)

  • I'll admit I was bummed when NBC yanked “Lipstick Jungle” off the air last year. Sure, it was mostly because I'd miss drooling over Robert Buckley every week but I also came to realize that I'd developed kind of a girl crush on Lindsay Price -- I think she's just beautiful and have liked her since she became Steve Sanders' girlfriend on the last season of the real “90210.” (Ok, so I watch entirely too much TV. What's your point?)

  • MY point is that like Lindsay, there are some stunning Asian women in Hollywood (like the ladies in this best makeup photo gallery). That skin! That hair! Truly green-eyed monster-summoning attributes.

  • So just how do famous faces like Sandra Oh, Lucy Liu and Margaret Cho get so gorgeous? Celeb makeup artist, Taylor Chang-Babaian, author of "Asian Faces: The Essential Beauty and Makeup Guide for Asian Women" spilled some expert makeup tips that will have you looking like a pro did YOUR face (whether you’re Asian or not).

  • Jarah Mariano: Even Skin Tone

  • Let's first talk about getting glowy, perfect complexions -- the kind that “Sports Illustrated” model Jarah Mariano has. (But I'm not jealous of). "Asian women are generally very concerned about having flawless skin," says Chang-Babaian. To get an even complexion she suggests taking great care of your skin with a consistent routine that includes removing makeup every night and applying SPF every day. Also, if you have a very uneven skin tone from hyperpigmentation, freckles, age spots or acne scarring, Chang-Babaian recommends using a skin tone corrector. See which one she likes and learn how to get smooth coverage. Then, learn how to solve even more skin probs.

  • Lucy Liu: Defined Brows

  • As for getting beauteous brows like Lucy Liu, it's important to give them more definition and structure because Asian eyebrow hairs tend to be fine, sparse and point downward. Use a powder and brush duo (seetop-rated eyebrow products) to avoid the harsh lines that can result from drawing them in with a pencil. And Chang-Babaian warns not to use black powder on your brows -- even if you have black hair on your head. Instead, use a color that's one to two shades lighter than your hair color for a more natural finish and suggests applying it this way.

  • Margaret Cho: Contoured Face

  • "I always contour Asian faces to give definition," says Chang-Babaian who points out that many Asian women have square or round faces. (See if your hairstyle flatters your face shape.) She recommends using two different shades of foundation for contouring -- one that matches your skin and one that's slightly darker and shares these professional steps for how to apply them so they look natural.

    • This is TB\'s idea of an Asian beauty article? So you ignored all of South Asia? Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan? The only Asians are now far-east Asians? I am truly disgusted. Nice to know that Padma Lakshmi, Frieda Pinto, etc. don\'t make the cut.
