  • So I headed out to Miami over the weekend to attend the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It was held for the first time in Miami at the recently renovated (for a measly $800 million) Fontainbleau hotel. The place was gorgeous and somewhat Vegas-like (think scantily clad dancers by the pool).

  • So I was so enthralled when I heard the news this morning, I had to blog about it: Beyonce got her nails manicured with Obama's surname. You can see what it looks like in the latest V magazine. There's a smaller image posted below but you can't see the nails very well, so go check out the mag at your local newsstand and tell us what you think! Would you get a "presidential manicure"?

  • Perfume bottles make me happy, which is why I couldn't help but be tempted by the new Viva La Juicy fragrance -- the bottle is so darn cute! I've always had a thing for bows though (and ha! I'm wearing a blouse today with one emblazoned on the front). But I must admit I was hesitant to spritz on the juice. I was worried it might be too fruity or overpowering for my highly sensitive sniffer. I went for it anyway and was beyond pleasantly surprised. The top notes of mandarin and berries do give the overall scent a fruity kick, but the gardenia, jasmine and honeysuckle (in the middle notes) make it more sophisticated than I would have expected. Finally, the creamy amber, caramel woods, vanilla, sandalwood and praline in the base notes add a yummy (not musky) warmth and sexiness that really sticks around on your skin. Overall, it's a winner that beats out the original Juicy scent.

  • In case you've been living under a rock lately (how unfortunate), the new James Bond movie, "Quantum of Solace," is in theaters Nov. 14. This means we get to spend a couple of hours drooling over Daniel Craig and ooh-ing and aah-ing over the hair and makeup of the new Bond Girls, Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton (above).
