As a teen growing up in Conn., I always loved shopping at Marshall's. I would literally go there to buy a new outfit after every babysitting job. It was the only way I could afford all of the fancy labels I would read about in magazines. Now as a grown up girl, it's still one of my favorite places to shop. I'm a HUGE bargain shopper. The only problem, there wasn't a Marshall's in New York City -- until now! Last week, the store opened in Chelsea. I was excited to get a sneak peak of the new discount digs. Not only did I spot adorable shoes and trendy clothes, but also a huge beauty section. That's right. Marshall's is now offering an assortment of beauty buys (from brands like La Mer, Vera Wang and Ralph Lauren) at up to 60 percent off their regular prices. So now nothing can keep me from buying a new fancy fragrance or a creme du jour -- not even my wallet or the big apple.
