Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen "Take a Break" - Hope That Doesn't Affect Her Health and Beauty!

Stars Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen, who've been engaged since 2008, are "taking a break," according to UsMagazine.com. And we're just hoping the stress doesn't wreak havoc on her health & beauty.

The actress, best known for her spot on portrayal of spoiled rich kid Summer Roberts on the hit nighttime soap, "The O.C.," talked to US magazine at a THQ's E3 "Take No Prisoners" soiree in Los Angeles on Tuesday night and, when questioned about plans for the nuptials (which the reporter had assumed were upcoming), the diminutive starlet said "No plans" and then, as if to underscore the statement, waived her now ringless finger and said, "No nothing."

According to a source, Bilson, who had long-dated her "O.C." co-star (and sometime on-screen love interest) Adam Brody (Seth Cohen), before meeting and falling for Christensen on the set of their movie "Jumper," has been separated from the 29 year-old Canadian actor who's known to legions of "Star Wars" fans the world over as Anakin Skywalker, for a few weeks.

The same source tells the tab that they've decided to take a "few weeks off" before reconvening and figuring out whether or not to move forward with the relationship.

Bilson, a Los Angeles native whose dad, Danny, is a writer/director and mom, Heather Medway, an actress, has been a staple of fashion pages and red-carpets since "The O.C." rocketed her to fame back in 2003 and cites designers like Stella McCartney and Chanel among her faves. She's also frequently spotted at New York Fashion Week.

"I grew up sort of like a princess," the star once said in an interview. "I know that sounds awful, but I was the baby of the family. I had older brothers, so the little girl always gets everything she wants." "As I've gotten older, I've realized that if you want something bad enough, you can have it. I've never gone after something I didn't get. Not yet."

Wonder whether Christensen is something she "wants." Guess only time will tell.
