Actress Nicole Kidman's Makeup Faux Pas on "Nine" Red Carpet

Horrors of horrors. The Australian actress unknowingly posed for photos with a white residue on her nose and under her eyes, causing her to look as though she had just come from a baking convention. While makeup artists tend to add an extra layer of powder to shield stars from stray eye makeup residue, the trick is to remember to remove it ahead of your starlet's red carpet appearance.

While Kidman has said in previous interviews that she values her pale skin, even this powder was too light to blend into her complexion. Now, an actress who rarely gets it wrong may serve as a reminder to check yourself out before making an entrance.
