It's a Make Up Not Break Up Situation with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

It can't be news to anyone who isn't deaf or mute on the planet that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are indeed dating. Amazing. With their first rendezvous on Twilight's first movie set, Kristen Stewart had since broken up with her high school sweetheart and fallen for the convincing lines of Pattinson: "Love me or I will bite you"-- well, something along those lines. Anyways, the two haven't publicly vocalized their off-stage relationship, but Eclipse producer Wyck Godfrey recently ousted their secrecy and confirmed that they are in fact dating. Cue horror music.

For the "Team Edward" girls who were hoping for their break up not make up, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. In a recent interview with Time, the producer Godfrey said, "Oh my God, I hope they stay together. Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out. It's like, wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies. God, I hope they stay together; please stay together."

"Could be awkward," he said. Has it not been awkward enough already? Stewart isn't really known for her charismatic, loving-the-camera demeanor. If Pattinson and Stewart's role in the Twilight series is to show that they're in love (which they failed at), then what can the producer do with the rest of the Twilight Saga if Rob and Kris break up? Are they actually going to be expected to (gasp) act?

Truth be told, I did read the books and yes, saw the movies, but ONLY to stay current with the ravaging teenage times. And okay, I do concede that Stewart's punk makeup look is pretty fab on the red carpet; but will the Twilight madness never end? If you are still "Team Edward" despite his couple-dom, fans can flock to the new Robert Pattinson wax figurine revealed today at the Madame Tussauds Hollywood Wax Museum. He looks so good you'd want to take a bite out of him. But don't. It doesn't have a soul.
