Ke$ha's Blue Makeup - Love it or Hate it?

She's hardly a sedate style maven to begin with but at last night's "Casio Shock the World" event in NYC, singer Ke$ha had tongues wagging over her blue makeup.

As the new face of Casio's Baby-G watches, the Tik Tok singer was on hand at a press conference then walked the red carpet sporting blue lips and a blue tribal/war paint like arm band on her left bicep. She then upped the wattage even more and took to the stage in full on KISS mode, adding a glittery blue star painted over her right eye a la Paul Stanley.

The self professed "garbage chic" singer, who counts Katy Perry among her bffs, rocked the house then headed to the after party with a clean face, wearing a cut up Indianapolis Colts tee shirt, silver shorts and army boots and danced the night away with guests like Gabourey Sidibe and Lamar Odom and wife Khloe Kardashian.

And, while crazy makeup looks aren't THAT out of the ordinary (Check out these 13 looks to try before you die), a fuchsia pink mouth or heavy cat eye are certainly less extreme than full on blue lips.

Her outrageous style has gotten her far (her debut CD, "Animal," sold a million copies in the U.S. alone despite being called "repulsive, obnoxious and ridiculously catchy" by Rolling Stone magazine) and this lucrative watch endorsement may be but the tip of the iceberg for the altruistic Nashville native who, in May, held a concert for flood victims in her home state.

And, her fan base is surprisingly far reaching. Infamous "New Jersey Housewife" Danielle Staub who's reportedly going to be releasing an album, told Hollywoodlife.com that she's "going to be recording with a lot of people,” and that, “there’s a potential of one big name … but I can’t confirm it. I’d like … no, I’d LOVE to work with Ke$ha.”

Now THAT would be interesting - maybe not as interesting as blue lips, but interesting nonetheless.
