Leona Lewis Shows Her Softer Side with Light, Shimmery Makeup

While most us don't have to worry about looking gorgeous all the time like Lewis, pictured here, sometimes it's fun to copy their ideas when getting ready for a night on the town.

For Lewis' look, start by lining your eyes with a shimmery gray liner, but don't worry if you don't have a sparkly one, because regular gray will still work. Be sure not to go overboard with the liner, as too much can overdramatize the look you're going for.

Next, apply a light, sparkly shadow like silver or a glittery mauve, then add extra shimmer to the corners of your eyes with either the shadow or a highlighter. Use a lighter shade above the eyelid, although make sure that it complements the base color. Apply mascara sparingly, you should let the glitter have the spotlight.

Finally, smudge on a pale pink lipstick or tinted lip gloss for the complete Leona Lewis look.
