Wearing Natural Makeup, Angelina Jolie Comes Ready to Talk "Salt" at Comic-Con

Reminiscent of her leather-wearing Tomb Raider days, Angelina Jolie walked into Comic-Con today for the first time since the release of the Tomb Raider series to promote her new action-thriller, "Salt".

Jolie was wearing nude lips, minimal blush and dramatized lashes. I'm digging her minimal makeup and hair approach drawing all attention to her skin-tight leather apparel. To copy her natural makeup look, check out this easy step-by-step guide. You can also watch this video to see how to apply your makeup flawlessly.

Clad in a black leather jacket, a body-hugging black pencil skirt and heels, mega-movie-star turned mega-mom Angelina Jolie has righteously earned her cemented actress status as an action star. Beating out Tom Cruise (who's starred in plenty action movies, one of recent with Cameron Diaz in "Knight and Day" and the classic "Top Gun"), Jolie walked into the Comic-Con panel today all smiles and leather greeting 7,000 screaming fans.

The mega-star commanded $20 million for her role in the movie originally written with Cruise in mind. And rightly so considering that she did all of her own stunts, which included jumping across highway overpasses onto semi trucks, using alarmingly dangerous weapons and engaging in hand-to-hand combat. Whew. Is she a regular-day super hero or what?

In the panel, Jolie talks about taking a brutal fall while shooting for one of the scenes.

"I thought I'd had a concussion," she said due to a ringing in her ears, "but I had forgotten that I had my earplugs in from [shooting] the gun!"

Jolie isn't a newbie to action films as she starred in five in the last ten years including "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and the comic geeks' favorite, "Lara Croft Tomb Raider". Since the first "Tomb Raider", Jolie has been upping the action with each film, catapulting herself into the Russian spy she plays in "Salt".

"My style got meaner and harder and darker, it wasn't as pretty," Jolie said. "I think this is a better action movie than the ones I've done."

And to bring to life every man's fantasy, Jolie has her share of handling weapons.

"I got to play with just about everything," she said. "Including using a fire extinguisher in a way I'd never used it."

Hot.

And though we all love watching a beautiful woman handle a fire extinguisher, Jolie enjoyed the fist combat scenes the most.

"Hand-to-hand combat was our weapon of choice -- to do everything down and dirty," she said.

Salt producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura said, "It's definitely unusual that a female has become an action star, but it's a funny thing. She's not a female action star; she's an action star. She's really the first female to transcend gender. I don't think it's occurred before."

I can't wait to see Jolie get "down and dirty." "Salt" is opening in theaters Friday.
