An Unhappy Surprise from Tarte
Tarte can rarely do wrong in all things related to skin care and makeup. I can't recall what I did in the days before I discovered the brand. The eyeshadows, Amazonian clay blushes, LipSurgence tint, and SmolderEYES waterproof liner--oh, my! I had been told that I would fall hard for this mascara, and I didn't fall at all. My lashes were colored and separated, but there was no added volume or ...read morelength whatsoever. Perhaps if you are blessed with a plethora of lashes, this will work well for you. For those of us who are lacking, this is not a mascara which will enhance your lashes at all. Not a Great Mascara
I love the Tarte line and I received this in a kit. It is THE WORST mascara I have used. Maybe I am picky, but I look for lengthening and fullness. This product does neither. All it does is darken your lashes; no lengthening and thickening. For me, this is not acceptable because I think longer, thicker lashes really make your eyes pop. Meh
I got a sample of this mascara recently (and the coordinating primer) and I have to say I'm not impressed! A lot of what the reviewers are saying is true--it doesn't clump and I didn't notice any flaking or smudging.
