I love the packaging on this Naked more than all the other ones. It has a sturdy plastic magnetic case and the print design is super cool. I do wish it was more thin like the other ones though. It's kinda bulky. Like the other ones, the eyeshadows blends seamlessly and has wonderful pigmentation. There is a little bit of fallout but not as bad as the Lorac palette. I don't like the brush that come...read mores in here. I only use the pencil brush side but the tapered blending side is too stiff to actually blend something out. This palette has more matte colors than any of the other ones. It has 4 matte colors: Password, Whiskey, Combust, and Thirteen instead of only 2 matte shades like the other palettes. HOWEVER, it doesn't include a really good transition shade. Password is too gray and Whiskey is too dark and Combust is too light and Thirteen is only a white highlight shade. I'm really disappointed because I thought Urban Decay would get it right by now. I like how they listened to their fans and added more satin and matte finish in this palette verses the other ones but there's no transition shade at all! This is a smoky palette but I wish Smolder was more purple because it just looks black on the lid and Black Market and Dagger already looks black already so I have like 3 black shades in this palette. Beautiful Color Range, Excellent Brush
I usually gravitate toward nude palettes, but I could still see myself using each one of the colors in this set, because in addition to the grays it contains some solid nudes and a couple of browns, as well as a pretty blue and a purple. But what puts this palette over the top for me is the brush. It's such a high-quality tool. I'm in love
I'm not surprised at all that I fell in love with Urban Decay's Smoky Palette. The thing I love about UD eyeshadow above any other brand is it lasts and you get the colors you see. Often times other brands' eyeshadows come off as "barely there", when applied and eventually disappears into the crease of my eye come the end of the day. UD Smoky gives you rich, thick color--that lasts all day or night.
