Bring on Spring -- My Shower Caddy is Stocked and I'm Ready to Bare Arms
Posted 03/03/11 at 10:53AM by Audrey Fine
I may be being a tad optimistic but I'm so over winter that last weekend, in an attempt to usher in spring, I went shopping for all the products I'll need to get my skin shipshape to showcase all the cute dresses and strappy sandals I can't wait to start wearing. (OK, maybe I just wanted an excuse to go and buy some beauty products, but, hey, the end result is the same.)
So, what exactly is going to help me turn my scaly winter bod into a resplendently smooth and supple masterpiece that's ready to be on display? These wonderful beauty boosters, that's what.
NO. 1: Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Aging Body Wash, $12.95. I have a friend who can not shut up about this so I figured I'd give it a whirl. She swears that her skin is decidedly softer since she started using it and that her husband even noticed that her legs were smooth and supple!
No. 2: For alternate days, I also laid in two tubes of Dermalogica Exfoliating Body Scrub, $33. Sure, it's a little on the pricey side but it works so darn well that I can wholeheartedly justify the splurge.
No. 3 Ooh, and I am totally hooked on Lamas Beauty Chinese Herb Body Lotion, $23.99) and a subtle self-tanner (Quench Plus Touch of Sun Body Lotion, $6.49) so that when March goes out like a lamb, I'm the perfect shade of bronze.
That pretty much sums up my newly stocked caddy. Have any awesome skin-sloughing/smoothing products you want to brag about? And, hey, speaking of getting great skin, have you tried a motorized cleansing brush on your face? The host of our Total Look videos did and you can watch her face cleansing brush vlog to see what she thought of it.

I love my Philosophy Micro-Exfoliating Body Wash! It smells like lemons, but it's not too heavy of a scent, and it works wonders!

I can't wait to try some of those products.

I love Giovanni's Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub. It's affordable and smells like brownie batter! Even my boyfriend loves it. And it makes my body so incredibly smooth.
