Blowing out a curly head of hair takes the right tools -- and a fair share of patience. Our host Rebekah met with a hair expert to find out precisely what we curly girls need to have in our arsenal if we want to achieve a super-straight, sexy look. She also consulted with a beauty guru to learn how best to adapt makeup looks when going from curly to straight and back again. To prove all of these tips and tools work, one lucky TotalBeauty.com reader underwent a hair transformation that you have to see to believe!

I wish they had recomended some hair-dryers by name. With so many out there it would be tough choosing one that has the right features with the right price tag. Loved the look, but also knew they were ads for a certain product. Would like to see other products mentioned.

I feel like some important things might have been edited out. For instance, what does he mean by "from the bottom up"? It looks to me like he's going from the roots down...or maybe the roots become "the bottom" when he has pulled it up & away from her head? also, what is a finishing creme? Any recommendations?
