The VIP (Very Impressive Products) Pick of the Week #12
Posted 04/22/11 at 02:37PM by Audrey Fine
The Product(s): CoverGirl's LashBlast line of mascaras including my faves, CoverGirl LashBlast Luxe and CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara.
The Price: $7.00-$8.00
The Positioning: Whether it's Drew Barrymore or any of the sundry "America's Next Top Model" wannabes (or winners) promoting the LashBlast line on real (and practice) TV commercials, one thing is certain; if you want long, or lush, or fuller lashes, there's a LashBlast mascara just for you.
The Real Deal: There is. I'm super picky when it comes to mascara, (because I have the most anemic, pathetic excuse for lashes -- ever) and the two I mention above really do what they promise to. LashBlast Luxe gives me thick, natural-looking lashes in just one coat and LashBlast Volume Blasting never clumps or smudges and makes them totally lush and full. So, depending on the look I'm after on a particular day, I just choose one and know that my lashes (at least) will be precisely what I want them to be.
The Upshot: I will definitely continue to purchase these two and look forward to trying new members of the LashBlast "family" as they are introduced to the market.
What's your favorite mascara? (And, why?) Regardless of your preferred tube, this eye-opening lash maneuver will really help make a difference. Promise.

covergirl lash blast is my obsession. I have not found another mascara with the same impact and lasting power!

I do not like this mascara. I did not find the formula to do anything but clump my lashes. I also think the want is to big and stiff to really get in there and coat the lashes. Maybe I had bad tubes because I bought a different formula and still hated it.
