Still Rocking Her Cougar Body, Courteney Cox Splits from Husband David Arquette

Speidi? Sure. Kelsey and Camille? Who cares. But, in probably the least expected announcement of Hollywood separations – because, seriously, by Hollywood standards, they've been together forever – comes the news that, after more than 10 years of marriage, Courteney Cox and David Arquette are going their separate ways.

And, while this may be a pleasant surprise for every man in America (since, let's face it, at 46, the star of "Cougar Town" is still smoking hot), it's a sad day for the soon-to-be exes and their 6 year-old daughter, Coco.

Of course, Cox, the face of Kinerase skin care, has continued to reveal an incredibly toned and cougar-licious body in the show's second season and has made it known that she even refused a body double for the show because she wanted the public to see an actual 40-something woman in all of her splendor.

"The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage," the couple said in a statement. "We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go though this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together."

Cox and Arquette met during the filming of the first "Scream" back in 1996, marrying just a few years later. (The pair have reprised their roles for Wes Craven's upcoming "Scream 4," which opens in April of next year.)

"We are comfortable with the boundaries that we have established for each other during this separation and we hope that our friends, family, fans and the media also show us respect, dignity, understanding and love at this time as well," they added.

However seemingly mutual, the split, some are suggesting, might be linked to some photos of Arquette prancing around town with 28-year-old Jasmine Waltz (a woman who apparently punched Lindsay Lohan on her birthday back in July) who, it's reported by TMZ, has been intimate with Arquette in the past. Waltz was also linked to dating Ryan Seacrest.

The only thing more astonishing than this split? We have to say how gracefully Cox and her naturally fit body have aged over the years—something that should be the envy of any woman, regardless of age.
