Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's New Pixie Haircut - Jessica's Younger Sister Debuts a Fresh New Hairstyle

First Hayden Panettiere did it. Then Michelle Williams. And, Carey Mulligan soon followed suit. Now, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has become the latest celeb to lop off her locks and emerge with a new pixie hairstyle.

The singer's husband of two years, Fall Out Boy bassist, Pete Wentz, tweeted last weekend that his wife, who's been known for her long, if-ever-changing-color, hair, had a new 'do. “Ashlee Simpson-Wentz (@ashsimpsonwentz) new blonde pixie haircut is cute. Ill try and sneak a pic to post,” he teased. And, on Tuesday, made good on the promise by putting up this photo of Ashlee and their almost 2 year-old son, Bronx.

While her older sister, Jessica, has pretty much always maintained her long, blonde hair, Ashlee's been known to switch it up a bit - she vacillates between blonde and red hues and sometimes plays with length but hasn't gone this extreme.

For her part, Jessica, who's always a tabloid staple, has been in the news lately because her new beau, former NFL hotshot, Eric Johnson, is now officially divorced. He and his former wife, who tied the not back in 2005, had been separated for just over a year. Does this news mean that marriage is in Nick Lachey's ex's future? Stay tuned...
