Chloe Sevigny and Maggie Gyllenhaal Wear Red Lipstick to the Metropolitan Opera

When Chloe Sevigny, pictured here at another event, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, attended the Metropolitan Opera's premiere of "Armida" earlier this week, these two fashionistas pulled out all the stops. From elegant dresses to red lipstick, these fashion plates made elegant look easy.

Both of the lovely ladies wore timeless outfits in neutral colors (Sevigny donned an all black jumpsuit with elbow gloves, and Gyllenhaal wore a neutral tan dress). The outfits were as formal as they should have been (if you can't go black tie at the opera, when can you?), and we love that they chose classic makeup like red lipstick to create an old-school vibe.

We hope that this look sticks throughout the season, and our favorite celebs continue to rock it.
