While some stars request body doubles for their racy nude scenes (Julia Roberts famously used one in "Pretty Woman" and Jennifer Beals did for "Flashdance"), some, like Cuban-American beauty, Eva Mendes, doesn't mind baring all if she thinks it's integral to the scene.

"I'm not an exhibitionist. But, honestly, for my art I'll do anything almost. I'll go there," the model/actress says in the July cover story of W magazine.

Mendes, who spent many years as a model and can still be seen in campaigns for brands like Revlon and Calvin Klein, learned a lot of makeup tips and tricks of the trade behind the scenes at photo shoots and has become a master of creating her signature pout and smokey eye. (Watch this "How to Create a Smokey Eye" video for great insider info.)

The actress, who's current main squeeze is music producer George Augusto, also favors bronze tones over peachier ones for playing up her medium/olive skin tone and knows that tending to ones brows is a must. As the frames to our faces, well-groomed brows are imperative -- Mendes' are always beautifully sculpted into a heavy arch that work wonders at setting off her chocolate brown eyes. When your jobs has you being constantly being preened and primped it helps if you're a fan of all the girliness. And, Mendes is. "I love makeup," she In Style magazine, adding that she when it comes to creating her sexy signature eye, she has a weakness for liquid liner. "I'm heavy-handed with makeup so I have to use light [shades], otherwise I look like I'm working a different profession."

Jokes aside, the 36 year-old beauty, who was born in Florida but raised in Glendale, California, is aware that her looks may cause her to lose out on certain movie roles. "I know I walk a fine line between being a respected actor and being what they call a sex symbol," she says in the W interview. The good news is that in an industry where women can sometimes be strong-armed into doing things she's "never felt objectified."
