How to wear makeup like Katy Perry

People Magazine is reporting it's easy to achieve Perry's dramatic makeup by just using some products around the house.

First, you'll need a thick coat of black eyeliner. Perry tends to go over-the-top with her application, but it just makes her eyes look that much brighter. Finish it off with metallic accents such as silver liner on the bottom or an aqua colored eye shadow.

As Perry tends to keep her eyelashes heavy, if fake lashes are available to you, try wearing those. If not, multiple coats of black mascara should do the trick, you may want to try brands such as DiorShow or Benefit's Bad Gal Lash, which are known for providing faux-like lashes.

If you don't have Perry's blue eyes, maybe try accenting your irises with a bronze shade, just apply heavy black mascara.

Finally, Perry tends to let the focus be her eyes and stays away from dark lips, which is why you may want to try a light pink or a nude shade to complete the look.
