A Wintery Makeup Idea That's Sure to Turn Heads

A shimmery lilac is a great eye makeup color for the winter season as it gives your eyes a frosty effect. The tutorial begins by applying light pink eye shadow as a base.

Next, apply lilac shadow on the outer corners of your eyes. The instructor in the video explains that lilac works the best for everyone, as blue and white can sometimes be a bit harsh. However, adding white shadow to the center of your eyelid and blending it with the lilac gives your eyes a 3D effect.

Apply a dark purple eye shadow on your crease using a pencil brush about a third of the way in, use another brush to blend the color together. For a liner effect, use the dark purple shadow as an eyeliner in the corners of the eyes.
