Marilyn Manson WITHOUT His Makeup: A New Man

I know you're thinking I uploaded the wrong picture with this story because clearly that All-American baseball-jersey-wearing young man cannot be the king of heavy metal whose face strikes fear to my very core, Marilyn Manson.

Well, you'd be wrong.

That's right ladies and gents, that man who looks like his sole life desire is to swing a bat and possibly smash a couple beer bottles is actually what Marilyn Manson looks like without makeup.

Talk about having to put your face on. The 41-year-old hard rock icon, whose chalk white makeup, blacked out lids and blood-red lips is ready for its close up in the next installment of "The Grudge," has the heavy metal community (and the rest of us) confused with his newly divulged obsession with TV show "Eastbound & Down." When the directors of the HBO series said Manson was not only their biggest fan, but even dressed like the main character all the time, it was one of those I-gotta-see-it-to-believe-it moments -- and even when seeing it, it's still pretty unbelievable.

Co-director David Gordon Greene told "Interview" magazine that Manson is such a fan of the comedic series that "he's repeating entire chunks of dialogue and dressed like Kenny."

Manson (whose real name is Brian Hugh Warner) is the lead singer of the heavy rock eponymous band known for their controversial lyrics and outrageous performances. Manson's freakish getup is one celebrity makeup look I won't be teaching you how to copy. His long black, scraggly hair and distorted eye makeup sporting bright green or turquoise eye shadow is really a look I'd prefer to avoid. I just can’t believe under that crazy demonic exterior is this nice-looking TV addict. Who knew?
