The reality TV fixture's new cover is raising more than a few eyebrows.

Some sleuths are comparing paparazzi pix snapped of the mom of eight at the seashore this summer with the glossy cover photo. In the pap photos, she looks great but stretch marks are visible on her stomach -- not so on the magazine cover.
Gosselin, whose new show 'Kate Plus 8' has been plummeting in the ratings, admits to having had a tummy tuck in 2006 (Can you blame her? After all, the woman did carry sextuplets and twins!) but it's the lack of stretch marks that're causing the ruckus.
At the crux of the buzz is the fact that the public seems to wish that magazines would present people the way they really are - not perfect them beyond anything attainable. Kate Gosselin has stretch marks? Of course she does. Let's see them. She's still in fabulous shape and looks great in the white bikini.
Adding insult to injury, perhaps, are the cover lines of the issue, which extol her "New Body!" and tease about how she got it ("Botox? Breast Implants? The reality star reveals what she's done to look this good.") We're guessing that Jon's ex doesn't cop to being Photoshopped.
What do you think? Do magazine's have a responsibility to show celebrities how they really are or do you just not want to see someone with stretch marks staring out at you from the newsstand?
