I don't know that this product protects my hair color, but it does not damage or strip it either. It keeps my fine hair clean, hydrated, and shiny without weighing it down. It is not cheap, but not ridiculously priced either. I would have to say that 75% of women color their hair. And those are just the ones that are telling the truth! So whether you are an “out there” hair color fanatic or a closet one, protecting your color as long as possible is critical to keeping that salon look and saving money – trips to the salon are not cheap! I have tried many color protecting shampoos and Nexxus Color Assure product...read mores worked best for me. To preserve your color even longer, don’t wash your hair every day.
