Urban Decay Shadows are the best

UD shadows are overrated....
Everyone seems to love Urban Decay eyeshadows including the Naked palettes. I think they're extremely overrated and overpriced. I don't know if the shadows in here are the same formula from the Naked palettes but I can't seem to blend these out as well as the Naked palettes I've tried. They also seem to be lacking in pigment. I can't seem to get the shadow to look exactly like how it does in the p...read morean. Like all UD palettes I have tried, they have way too many shimmery shades and not enough matte transition shades to complete the look. This is an ALL SHIMMER palette only. If you're looking for matte shades this isn't the palette for you. The shimmer are not finely milled either. It was all over my face and cheeks. I love shimmery eyeshadow but I wish UD would create a palette that's an all in one palette with more matte and shimmer shades combined. This also faded throughout the day on me even when I used the primer that came with this. Prettiest palette!
This is by far the best palette I own. The design on it is PERFECT for me because I love flowers AND guns! Even the crappy make up applicator is cuter than the normal ones you receive for free. It has a big ol' mirror inside so you can check yourself out on the go without having to squint which is also a plus. Not my favorite palette. While I like almost all of these colors, I feel like the formula is different. Basically every one of the colors require a lot more building up than I am used to from my older UD shadows (and I always wear an eye primer). My biggest problem is the glitter shadows though: There is a ton of fall out. I expect fall out upon application, (and that usually doesn't bug me becaus...read moree I do my eye makeup before the face) but I don't expect glitter all down my face throughout the day. I really don't expect so much fall out that my eye lids have zero glitter by the end of the day! It's not the most cohesive palette, though I have gotten a few looks I quite like from it. The decor on the palette is very retro & reminds me of James Bond. 10 colors in a mirrored compact with a duo ended applicator. The colors along the top row (except Chopper) are darker shades & work great on the lids, Oil slick is intense enough you can use it as eyeliner. Polyester Bride & Sin make great highlighters. some colors flake
The shade selection is good for the most part. There are few unwearable colors depending on your skin tone. The glittery shades flake the most, and the sparkles will fall onto your face and you'll notice that your face has sparkles throughout the day that you can't really rub off. Pretty Handy
Convenience, variety, pretty and universal colours. The Ammo Shadow Box has it all. A great way to try out Urban Decay's fan favourites. Excellent for travel. All you need for eyes!
Doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes, even with my contacts. Love the colors, so many combos. OMG
My god, the packaging is beautiful. UD always has the prettiest packaging on their products. I love the beautiful shades of eyeshadow. The shadow itself is easy to apply, stays on long, and only has to be reapplied once.
