disappointing
I bought this liner after looking through all the liners and reading the description. I thought this eyeliner would be great. I got home, and tried on the new makeup I had purchased and this was a total letdown. I tried applying the eyeliner and it just did not work. The color was supposed to be black, and it was sort of a watered down gray color, if it came out at all. Identical to the expensive brands
I was running out of my Clinique liquid eyeliner so I decided to purchase a cheap one bcuz I didn't want to run all the way to the mall for Clinique. I knew I needed one with a felt-tip, so rightaway I eliminated a few brands (most drugstore brands carry just brush-tip...blah!) then staring at me was the Covergirl brand,felt-tip in black... Perfecto! All I can say is I love it! The line goes on sm...read moreooth without skipping, the color is intense, and it lasts (I applied eyelid primer beforehand). But, wow I was amazed. Carry in purse for touch-ups

I loved it until it died on me!!!!!
This liner was phenomenal; went on smooth, made application a breeze,rich color. But then a month or two after purchasing it dried out! And this was from using it a few times a week. Lasts A Long Time...
One of the main problems I've had with liquid eyeliner is the staying power. I have oily eyelids and if I line my upper lashline, I usually end up with black lines in my creases. I've been using this for a couple of months now and I have yet to have that problem. I even used it through PE and it didn't budge. It has great shape and formula. The only problem I have is the tip. It's very particular ...read morewhen it comes out. You can't really have anything on your skin when you're applying this or it will stop the eyeliner from gliding on consistently, and will drag. I usually end up having to dab the tip on a moist paper towel to get it right again. You also can't go over it very well because the tip will smudge it off in places (which will dry out the tip) and leave you with "bare spots" in your line.
