I'm in my late 20's, so I don't really have issues with lines/wrinkles, etc, but I do get occasional puffiness or irritation, especially when I don't get enough sleep. Even though it's a gel, it feels pretty nice on the skin. It gives a bit of a cooling sensation, and I feel like it helps deal with puffiness (along with actual massage while application). Since it's a gel, it doesn't feel greasy, a...read morend is a good canvas for applying makeup. It provides really good calming effect too, I had some irritation on my face, and applied some of this gel on it, the redness and itchiness was reduced in a matter of minutes. A huge plus for me is that this one is unscented. The packaging could be better, cause it's a pretty big jar, and the product is likely to go bad before it is all used up if you stick your finger in it all the time... Animal testing
