Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow
I really liked the line of Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Wash line of eye shadows, I decided to try a few of the other finishes in her line of eye shadows. They are very silky in texture, they are buildable, a...read morend seamlessly blendable. The pigment saturation is excellent. You don't have to use a lot of product to get great color payoff. The shadow clings nicely to an application brush, so I have had no problem with fallout during application. They wear very well for me with or without primer, and that is a plus for me as I am extremely oily. I find they don't crease, slide, or fade even after hours of wear. The little palette the eye shadow singles come in are very basic, yet elegant, not over stated. I find that they are worth the price because they perform very well for me far better than many other high end eye shadows that were more expensive, yet didn't perform as well for me as Bobbi Brown's do. I will be adding a few more colors to my collection because they work so well for me, and I have not noticed a color I haven't liked in this line. There are many colors, so anyone could find a color or two that would suit anyone's taste or skin tone. I don't go to Bobbi for her shadows.
These shadows are pretty, but they dry up and harden really fast. The pans are very big, and you get a lot of product for what you're paying. I don't think they're as "good" as MAC shadows. Some of the colors in Bobbi are completely gorgeous, but they'll go bad on me before I use them all. Maybe smaller packaging, smaller prices and a palette option would be nice? I don't think the color payo...read moreff is as good as some other shadows.
