Hooray for Ole!
Kudos to VOLTA for a perfectly-written review of Ole Henricksen's "Ultimate Eye Lift Gel!" Follow her advice and DO use high-quality eye creams at a young age. It's far easier to prevent damage than it is to prevent it! This is a wonderful, effective, refreshing formula for women of all ages. I wish I had used this years ago. It soaks into the eye area quickly. I have no fear of puffiness wi...read moreth it (many eye products containing certain oils will do exactly the opposite of what you hope they will accomplish, as these lipids will "lock in" water under the eye and cause distended skin here). This is a substantive, comforting, cooling gel. The Cucumber Extract included tightens pores and decongests. Calendula Extract softens texture and energizes skin. Glycerin adds to skin's supple feel, while Aloe Leaf Juice calms tissue. I can't say nearly enough about how much I like Copper to firm my complexion. Neutrogena used to carry it in an eye line awhile ago, and I saw immediate and lasting results. I see the same with Henricksen's masterpiece. Those with sensitive skin need have no fear of using this. Like me, most of my friends who employ this gel noted a decrease in eye puffiness and darkness and a clarified, taut look. This is a gel I intend to use for years to come. The price may seem just a tad steep at first, but the results it produces and the amount included in the jar more than justify the $38.00 you pay. Just a tip: Always use the utmost tender care when working with tissue around the eye. It is akin to crepe paper. Use your ring finger when applying products (it is your weakest and will cause the least damage), and work gently from the outside in. Never pull or tug in this area (or on your face in general). Treat it well and it will reward you for the remainder of your life! This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

Wonderful!
I have used MANY eye creams--I have lost count. When it comes to choosing a good eye cream, it's worth the price to invest in high-quality eye creams. I believe EVERY person should start using eye creams in their early 20s. You don't need any of the fancy bells and whistles, just something that's going to hydrate and keep the skin firm. This is a great eye cream to try, but women of all ages will ...read morebe able to see the benefits. Ole Henriksen takes pride in creating (mostly) natural products that people of ALL ages and skin types can use. He has a line for people who want to develop a faithful skin care regimen and who wants to maintain and improve skin their condition. This eye cream has cucumber extract to tighten and firm skin, but also cool on contact and reduce puffiness. There is aloe extract to greatly soothe the skin and comfort it. Copper extract (which makes it blue) also firms the skin. This eye cream also has botanical blends to brighten the area around the eye. The best part? Since it's a natural eye gel, it's SAFE to use around the ENTIRE eye area, above and below. Most people don't realize that you SHOULDN'T use any eye creams above your eye on your lid because they often contain ingredients that can irritate your eye. Therefore, this is a great gel to use on your brow bone to keep your lid and upper eye skin looking firm and tight. Although a jar of this gel costs $38, you get a LOT of product for a much cheaper price than typical luxury eye creams. Although it's typically recommended to use this at night, I don't see a problem using it during the day (there is a day version available that comes in a tube, but I think they just want you to buy more and spend more money). This is very hydrating but it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. In fact, I like this because my eye area is typically normal to dry and this is great at hydrating, soothing, and prepping the skin for make up. I don't like how it kind of makes your eye area slightly sticky though, but for my firmer-looking skin with fewer lines, I can deal with it.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Sticky!
This eye gel feels too gooey on the skin! I usually dab on my eye creams but with this I end up dragging my skin because of how sticky it is. Also it doesn't get absorbed into the skin quickly I would have to rub it in. I did not notice any difference in the firmness or puffiness after using this :/This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
