I can't understand why more people don't talk about this amazing little brush. I have to assume that it is just because they haven't used it yet because if people did, they would love it and rave about it. I went to the MAC store intending to get MAC's 219 pencil brush because I wanted to precisely define my socket in a Mia Farrow/Twiggy sort of way. The lady at MAC said that if I wanted that 6...read more0's look I should get the 228 brush. Her reasoning was that since it is small and flat, it is easy to deposit product right along the crease. Using the edge of this brush, it fits perfectly in my socket line. Whenever I am going for that look, I use this perfect brush. It has tons of other uses as well though. It is great for smudging liner or shadow along the lash line or putting just a dab of highlighting eye shadow at the tear duct. It is also great for applying color at the brow bone. This is a brush for placing color, rather than blending it. I have had my brush since 2009 and it is still in perfect condition. The bristles are densely packed but soft to touch. I use this for so many looks. If I lost this or broke it somehow I would definitely run out to get another. I haven't seen a brush like this offered in other makeup lines. To me it is indispensable.
