    Great!

I'm really not a fun of most powder blushes and most stains as they seem to make me look like a clown and look "fake" . I love natural looking make up and this stuff is great! I notice at first it always goes on very strong but fades in seconds to a natural flush. worth the price as it last really long!

    lovelovelove

this stuff is amazing -- it's a beautiful wash of color and it actually stays all day long! it has a nice, natural looking dewey texture and is very easy to adjust if you went a little bit overboard (i just mix in some moisturizer). yes it's a bit pricey but this thing will probably last you forever because you really don't need to use a lot of product per application.

    I use it every day!

These cheeks stains are really great for creating a dewy natural flush. They are so easy to use, just swipe on and blend lightly with your finger. My favorite shades are Dollface and Blissful for my light complexion and they make shades for every skin tone. If I want to amp up the color a bit or make it last longer, I layer it with a touch of powder blush. As for the parabens mentioned by a previo...read moreus reviewer, please note that while Tarte has launched some paraben-free stains, there are more parabens in the food you eat (unless you ONLY eat organic) than there are in the makeup you use. Parabens are used as a preservative in makeup, so that your $28 cheek stain doesn't go bad in 3 months, and are generally one of the last ingredients listed on the package, meaning that there isn't much in the formula to begin with.

    My Favorite Blush

I'm Asian with combination skin (oily t-zone and dry cheeks) and this blush great works on me! I have this in Blushing Bride (sheer deep plum/ plum scented). I love it, because it gives me a natural healthy looking glow and it smells great! It stays on for a whole day too! It's really easy to use, just swipe the product on your cheeks once and then blend with your middle finger. Tarte Cheek Stain

I am an African American female. I purchased the tarte "tickled" cheek stain. It is a wonderful shade that adds a natural gloss to the cheeks.

Not what I expected at first but now I LOVE it!

At first I was surprised, I guess I had expected something different, maybe some type of gel or stain but it is just a big push up stick. I had used push up sticks before for blush and wasn't fond of it. The look of the bottle and because it's called a stain is why I thought it would be a gel or something like that. So I tried it at first by making a line on each side of my cheeks when I smiled...read more and then blending with my fingers. That didn't work out very well, looked super fake. Then I tried just dotting it on my cheeks and blending it with my make up sponge but it didn't show up well enough and it just disappeared. So then today I used a nice foundation brush that I had bought a while back from Sephora and I ran it across the top of the stick and gently swiped it just where I wanted with the brush and it looked PERFECT. I got compliments all day and I was glowing. I highly recommend this product if you use a foundation brush to put it on. I also put a little on my forehead and chin.

    A perfect natural flush!

Being very pale, finding a good natural blush that doesn't overpower my fair skin can be a challenge. I have found that Tarte's cheekstain in Tipsy is absolutely perfect for this though. It creates this soft natural flush, and has just enough of a sheen to create a beautiful glow (without being over the top glittery). This is my favorite blush. I recently purchased Blushing Bride as well. This is ...read morea darker shade, but applied lightly (I use my BeautyBlender), it is lovely. This stick will last next to forever, so the price is well worth it.

    I love it!

I also use the color Flush....and it's just perfect. Goes on easily, blends easily, looks natural and stays in the humidity and heat. What more could you ask for?

Okay, but not worth the money

I was so excited to try this product (in Flush). I've read so many great things about it. It is a natural color and once you figure out the right amount to put on, it looks pretty good on the apples of your cheeks. However, it doesn't stay on that long really (fades), which to me doesnt make it worth the nearly $30 price.
