This lip polish wand DOES stay on. As with any long-lasting lip polish though, I highly recommend a conditioning balm on first as these long-lasting lipsticks or glosses can dry out your lips. I've had trouble with lipstick my whole life. They change color and wear off. This is wonderful! Once it dries you can't feel it on, and it lasts all day, even through a meal or two, especially if you don't eat anything greasy.
