DHS Clear Shampoo by Person Covey
I have severe alleries, especially to the perfumes/colognes all the MFG's put in shampoos, conditioner, styling products etc. I can only wear one perfume (Gloria Vanderbilt, luckily it smells good on me),... I even have to buy perfumes free wash powder.. My sensitivity to these things have gotten worse as I've gotten older. As a young girl my Mother, and then myself, spent literally thousands of...read more dollars trying shampoos because we didn't know at that time what was causing the red blisters, which would bleed and then itch, in my scalp. Not even the doctor could find out (at that time). Then another fragrance free shampoo came out on the market, Clinique..their regular fragrance free shampoo. It took a couple of months for the toxins to clear my bloodstream but after that I had no more mind number itching or blisters, which I found out later where simply chemical burns from my allergy to the perfume. But like all good things, Clinique after many years as a "clear" shampoo, trying to "keep up with the Jones" changed all their shampoos and added color...more appealing to the ad when on display I guess. The very first time I used it, bamm, back came the blisters, this time caused by the darn dye to give this great shampoo color. I cried for days...didn't know what to do...and then I did an internet search and found, thank goodness, DHS Clear Shampoo...and ordererd it. Again with a short time, no more itching or blisters...It laters great, and leaves your hair clean. Now if you have oily hair like I do, you may have to shampoo a 2nd time, depending on how dirty your hair is, but this shampoo is a stable in my life...I keep a sample bottle of it in the dashboard of my car (alone with Tone beige, the only soap I can use) so that if I get caughta way from the house I can still shower and wash my hair. If you are having ANY itching or sore places in your scalp, TRY DHS CLEAR SHAMPOO...and give it at least 3 weeks of continual use to allow toxins from the allergies to clear your bloodstream. Yes, I do use some styling products, I just keep them clear of my scalp...still have so problems with that...but so far styling products aren't up to fragrance free statis. I can't live without this shampoo...it saves me from the torture of blisters and clawing myself to death from perfume allergies. You may not even realize you have the allergy to perfume in shampoo and conditioners...I swear by this shampoo...I just wished I could find it in the store instead of just online...sometimes I forget to order and have to hold my breathe until it arrives....Try it, it's great!This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
