This is a great item. It's made out of recycled metal and can be re-recycled if you ever don't want to use it anymore. The magnet that holds the pans to the compact is strong but not too strong that it would be difficult to change them. It's durable and comes with a mini blush and eyeshadow brush, along with a little liner that you place on top of the makeup to keep the brushes out of the pans unt...read moreil ready to use--so it can hold both makeup AND brushes for the makeup. The mirror is big and the pan can hold a foundation/power, a blush, and 2 eyeshadows from Aveda. (Or 2 powers, or 2 powders+2 blushes, or 6 eyeshadows etc etc) It is very customizable and is great to carry around all that you need. The only thing to watch out for is there are some little ventilation holes located on the back of the compact so any moisture on the pans transferred there from your face can escape, and some powder might leak out.
