colored hair's best friend

Nothing Special
To put it simply, I didn't feel that this conditioner (paired with it's matching shampoo) helped my color last any longer. It also made my hair flatter than usual, while somehow not offering enough moisture to my ends. Not as good as hello hydration, but smells nice
I prefer the Hello Hydration conditioner. I used that for a long time and really liked what it did for my hair. I picked up a bottle of this hoping it would work better and smell nicer, and although it smelled nicer, it didn't give me the same results. Frizz Prone
Herbal Essence wins hands down for good smell. However, I have ethnic hair that is very frizzy without the right product and Herbal Essence products seem to add to the frizz. I've been told by hairdressers it's because of all the chemicals in their products. Buy this if you want to cut all your hair off
I HAD waist-length brown hair that was bleached ashy-blonde balayage on the ends. (This was done professionally and my hair has been lightened for years) I picked this up at the drugstore after my salon-brand conditioner ran out because I saw that it had good reviews here. Probably one of the biggest hair mistakes of my life! After using this consistently (along with shampoo) for 2 weeks, my midsh...read moreaft and ends were so dry that I could no amount of "It's A 10" could get a comb through them post-shower. Before this, my hair was combination, but definitely manageable. After this, it was a dried out dreadlock clump. I went back to my hairdresser and CUT OVER A FOOT OFF (just above my collarbone). He explained Herbal Essence dries hair from the inside out. DONT DO IT
I have been using this for a month and a half now. My color washed out within the first week and my hair is so dry and falling out! I use to be able to only wrap my hair ties 2 maybe 3 times now wrapping them 4 times. Even went to doctor nothing wrong with me just my shampoo. Works Better Than The Shampoo...
But that isn't saying too much. I found that the shampoo caused a lot of build up in my hair, and did nothing to extend my color. The same is true for the conditioner, though it does a decent job of helping with my dry ends. Smells awesome
