L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara

Not terrible..

still one of my favs
I try other mascaras all the time and I find myself going back to this one. For $4.99 you can't beat the price. It gives my sparse lashes thickness, volume, length and makes them dark in one coat. Too Thick..or something??
Ugh, I do not like the formula of this mascara, or something about the wand..I can't quite put my finger on it. When you pull out the want to apply it, you can't see the bristles because the product is so thick, I have a hard time putting it on my eyelashes. I try and wipe some of it off, but then it doesn't apply nicely either. But then there are days when it goes on nice. I am very confused abou...read moret this mascara, maybe I got a bad batch? I've been wanting to say this for awhile
Dear Voluminous, I used to love you. You were all I ever used and were the only one I could ever dream of using. Even though I had to constantly scrape off the excessive amount of your excess from the brush, even though you gave me mono-lash, even though you clumped like crazy unless I was meticulous about your application. Great drugstore Mascara.
This mascara really gives your lashes volume and definition without any flaking or clumping. It makes my lashes really dramatic and it lasts all day. It removes easily at the end of the day so no more pulling and tugging and its really affordable. I really recommend this mascara ! Too "Tammy Faye" for my liking
L'Oreal must have changed this mascara's formula, because I remember Voluminous as my mother's go-to mascara when I was a child, but her lashes never looked as ghastly as mine did when I purchased a tube last month. The problems began the moment I discarded the packaging and pulled the wand out of the tube - the mascara was thick and caked on the brush; no matter how many times I wiped the brush ...read moreagainst the side of the tube, the stuff would simply not come off. The first coat can only be described as Clumpapalooza - very black, dry-looking, lashes stuck together - and that, too, could not be remedied, for the formula set instantly, and my near-immediate efforts with my lash comb were in vain. Thinking I had simply had the bad luck of purchasing an old tube, I opened up a new one - and the bristled part fell right off the wand, forever stuck in the tube. One of the best!
I LOVE this mascara!! One coat= Natural everyday look and Multiple coats= Big Bold Volumized Lashes!! I LOVE IT!! the only thing i dont like is that its kinda...like wet? in a way? and it can get just a bit messy..but its soo worth it with lashes like this! i hear kim kardashian uses it..and hey whatever she uses is good for me!
