    All Time Favorite

This has been the one mascara that has delivered as promised. I get compliments and asked what mascara I use to give me long and thick lashes. I have tried numerous mascaras and none have delivered consistently like Max Factor 2000 Calorie.

    To the MAX!

Max Factor is a well-respected name and for good reason. This mascara is outstanding: clump-free, easy application, middle of the road price, and excellent durability (resists smudging and is virtually waterproof!). Highly recommended.

    A good mascara

2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper is essentially the same mascara as CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara. I happen to like both quite a bit and the CoverGirl one is sometimes cheaper. This mascara provides good volume and decent length and definition. I haven’t had clumping issues with it. Mostly it’s focus though is on volume with a decent amount of length as well. I find the thick tube ...read morea bit odd (it just feels fat to me), but if that is my only complaint, then it must be a decent mascara! The brush is average size, with no real taper, and the mascara wears well without flaking. Despite the lack of taper to the brush, I am able to do my lower lashes OK with this one. But I could see that bothering some people. Of the various drugstore mascaras, this is one near the top of my list. Just be sure to see which mascara is cheaper or might be on sale when you buy. CoverGirl Lash Blastor Max Factor 2000 calorie.

    Best Mascara!

I am in constant awe of the $5 price tag on this mascara - as somone with long lashes that has always been a Lancome Definicils or Dior Show Blackout kind of girl, I could not believe this find. Lasts all day, applies easily, doesn't flake, and truly lenghtens and separates, plus adds curl. People are constantly asking me about what I do to my eyelashes, and I just say, one coat of this! I prefer this straight brush, also, for easier application.

    Great Mascara

I have been using this on and off since I was 14. It really fattens lashes and when used with an eyelash curler you get that nice full hollywood glam look that everyones looking for. It doen't flake or smudge but washes off very easily.

    ABSOLUTELY AWESOME

This oldie-but-goodie still thickens lashes better than anything out there, and with only one application. No time-wasting "layering." No clumps, no flaking off, no rubbing off, no irritation, looks natural. Every mascara on the market promises no clumps or globs, but this is the only one I've ever used that actually doesn't clump or glob. There's nothing to list in the "con&quo...read moret; column. It was the original lash plumper, but since the term "plumping" was meaningless as a marketing term then, it's not plastered all over the product packaging. Kudos to Max Factor for putting out a 10-star product for less than $6, keeping the original product on the market, and keeping the price low all these years. My highest recommendation.

    Vivacious Lashes

Happy Easter! (Hope your weather is better than ours here - rain does not work with silk dresses, argh!!) All weekend long, I've been using a couple of brand-new Max Factor products. Affordable and still with the quality of the over-priced stuff you find at your department store. (You can look beautiful people and not spend a fortune!) Running around in the rain, I've found the true test of my ne...read morew make-up - no streaking, ha! I've been wearing Max Factor's 2000 Calorie Mascara ($10) (but without the guilt!). So, mascara's one of those things, you either love or hate. Let's face it, I don't even check mail without it. And when my work took new name badge pictures and forgot to wear mascara - I had to run home! There are a couple of tried and true at Sephora I always make a nosedive for, and then there are those at the local supermarket that work like a charm, too. Folks, I think this is one of them. Max Factor is after all "the make-up of make-up artists." With this particular mascara, we're talking high impact; if you don't want major lashes or don't like to wear much mascara, this isn't for you. But, if you're like me and find your lashes disappear with certain brands and you just want to that extra "oomph" to actually show people you have lashes, this is the one. It's bold, black and thickens lashes like nothing I've ever used. And yet, my lashes still haven't gotten clumpy (which is the worst side effect of a mascara!).

    My 2nd Fav

This mascara is the NEXT BEST THING to Lancome Definicils. Seriously. I put this mascara on my left eye and Definicils on my right eye and could NOT tell a difference. This is a great mascara. I noticed it first on a friend of mine and she recommended it for me. It has NO clumps, super length and it looks great! Also, it doesn't make my eyelashes stiff... which is great so I know they won't ...read morebreak off! If you are questioning between a $4 and $24 mascara (2000 Calorie vs. Definicils), BUY THE 2000 CALORIE! You will not be disappointed!
