well
I got this for free from Sephora so I can't complain and I wouldn't any way, my skin is combination oily to dry, normally dry around the nose area, honestly I use moisturizer on my skin every day which makes it look a little greesy, but when I use this it keeps it looking matte for a good amount of time, so really it works for me, because I really don't mind touch ups through out the day and it do...read moreesn't sit on top of my skin the way other things do. Yeah it makes it look a little pale but if I blend it in well it disapears so it works well for me. Would I buy it myself? No, but as a freebie I'm pleased. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Done and Overwith
My skin is combination oily and comfortable so during the day, regardless of what foundation I'm using, I like to keep my look matte. A pat of this, even with strokes of a brush makes me look pale and had accentuated the dry flakes in my skin I haven't seen before. Although, portable, the look it gives it super matte but completely white until it sets fully into your foundation or blends with yo...read moreur natural skin oils, however, I do find because it is a natural white translucent based powder, it does lighten the complexion a bit after every touch up which may appear unnatural after a while. Just because this carries the Laura Mercier name doesn't mean it is up to par in my standards compared to the rest of their line; there are no color alternatives for this either so it's just this plain white blot powder. Now, for $30.00, you might reconsider your options since there are better translucent powders in the market that are created to blend into your skintone with a corresponding translucent tint, I highly recommend those instead. This is only good for setting makeup the first time, the rest of the day, this is pretty much an inconvenience. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Ehh...30 buck?!
I agree with VLOnline. The price alone makes this product a dud. When I spend $30.00 on pressed powder i'm expecting magic. This product doesn't even come close to cutting it. It's very portable and does give a matte finish for a few hours, but I haven't noticed that my foundation lasts longer or sets better...Spend your $30 dollars on something else. This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
