"no-pinch design" = no real curl
i was intrigued by the plastic design and "extra wide opening" - the metal curlers i'd tried before always pinched >ouch<. alas, my straight asian lashes did not achieve the super curl as promised. if you follow instructions and rest the top of the curler on your eyelid, indeed you won't pinch your lid; but because the curler isn't curved to the shape of your eye, you won't get all the lashes ei...read morether, particularly at the corners of your eyes. these left a strange crimp in my lashes that made them turn up unnaturally at a 90 degree angle, despite efforts to gently but firmly squeeze down the length of my lashes. i also tried heating the pad with a blowdryer as recommended, and this did seem to hold the curl longer but what's the point if the curl/crimp isn't the look i'm going for?This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 4 people said helpful
